So yes Wesley is potty trianed and i can't help but post this pic because its so funny. This is what he does when i tell him to "try really hard" or to "concentrate" on going potty. 
I really am so SO proud of him, and its been AMAZING to only change half as many diapers a day! its AWESOME!!
Katie was really cute getting her ears pierced. she just sat there really calm when they were messing with her ears and stuff, they were like, she's being really good. Then they saw the tiny hairthing in her hair and said, oh, she's used to torture, that's good! ha! can you see her little pony tail?? i think its cute. daniel makes fun of me.
Anyway, Also, i had a game on friday night at 11pm! crazy! we won though and did really well. Our team is 3 and 0 so far. I got home from that at 12:15 and of course couldn't fall asleep FOREVER and we were getting up at 5 am to go hunting.
that's right, daniel and i went hunting! it was a lot of fun! we just sat in camp chairs in the pitch black night and cuddled and waited for the sun to come up. Then right when the sun was coming up (as we were both asleep) daniel woke up suddenly and saw 2 deer so he pulled up his gun and told me to watch out behind us for more so i was doing that when i heard the shot right in my ear that almost made me jump off my chair and turned just in time to see a deer hobble/run into the woods. It was crazy! Unfortunately that was all we would see of that deer. We couldn't find a blood trail to follow so after looking around a while we went back to our spot and waited again. then this other hunter walked right up on us while we were sleeping again, scared the crap out of me because i thought it was a deer. So he pretty much ruined any other chance of us seeing anything more, (besides the shot earlier) so we packed up and left. It was really exciting and fun just to be out there with Daniel and watch the sunrise and all the dark scary shadows turn into trees and bushes and bright fall colors. I didn't get any pictures because our camera was out of batteries but i think we might go again.
When we got back to the house the kids were all running around the sleeping Michael on the couch. Apparently everything went well, the only unfortunate thing was that wesley found our hot glue gun, plugged it in and when it got hot he put it to his cheek and burned it a little. i was glad michael could do that for us, it was so nice to finally go hunting since i did hunter's ed when i was 16 and this is the first hunting trip i've been on!!
oh and then later that day Daniel went out with a friend and actually got one! so we have meat YAY!!!! i was so proud of him! so tonight he has to cut it up and all that, i SURE hope this time its not in our house! When he got his Elk when we were first married (and me newly pregnant and throwing up anyway) they cut it up and i helped package it in our apartment. It was SICK!!

Wow, that sounds like so much fun. Its okay that you guys weren't able to make it. I think we'll try to do another one next weekend. Its always nice to get away just the two of you. Jon wants to get an elk this year. We'll see!!
I'm glad you and Daniel were able to do a fun hunting trip together. Where did you guys go?
Kate looks so cute with her ears peirced...I wanted to get Audree's done but Brian won't let me. :( He says shes too young and that we need to let her decide when she wants them done. I guess he got that from his mom, so I just have to be patient and wait for her to ask for them. :)
